WAXING FAQS
What are the benefits of waxing?
There are many benefits to waxing over other forms of hair removal, the main being that the results last longer and any re-growth will feel more comfortable. It is also more hygienic, reduces body odour and in summer months feels much cooler.
There are sports related benefits along with visual appearance of showing off tattoos and piercings.
How long will it last?
This varies person to person, in the first 3 weeks or so there will be very little hair. For the first few treatments hair re-growth will happen sooner as individual hairs grow at different rates.
Shaving in-between appointments must be avoided for best results.
How often should I wax?
Wax Treatments should be carried out ever 4-6 weeks.
Will waxing hurt?
It really isn’t that painful! We work quickly and are very experienced in making your treatment as comfortable for you as possible.
You won’t experience the discomfort of itchiness after shaving and the results are worth it!
What can I expect after waxing?
This again varies person to person, you may have some redness, small bumps or slight soreness on the waxed area, especially on your first treatment.
Any symptoms usually subside between 24-48 hours following your treatment.
